Following an assessment an estimate will be provided including all anticipated parts and consumables, however, there is always a possibility we may find more damage and parts required as it’s taken apart.
We have facilities for small and large car repair jobs and cover engine, bodywork, brakes, steering, heating as well as other areas.

In case of a car breakdown where a roadside repair by your recovery provider cannot be done, your car or van can be brought to us by any of the breakdown and recovery services, and we will repair it for you.
Replacement Tyres, Exhaust Systems, Car Batteries

Replacement Tyres
We supply and fit tyres to cars and light commercial vehicles, either branded tyres or from a quality budget range.
Wheel balancing is part of this service. Tyres that are badly worn or not maintained are very dangerous – and illegal. Your tyres could be putting you in danger. Check your tyres regularly:
- Tyre pressures must be as recommended in your car handbook.
- Over inflated tyres will give a hard ride, and wear the tyres in the centre.
- Under inflated tyres increase fuel consumption, wear at the edges and can damage the tyre walls
- Uneven tyre pressures between wheels can badly affect cornering, steering and breaking. Your car is less stable to drive.
- Legally the tread depth must be a minimum 1.6mm across the centre 3/4 width of the tyre the whole way round the tyre. More simply, when the tread depth reaches one or more of the tread wear indicators (these are raised bumps in the tread grooves) your tyre needs replacing.
A tyre can last from a few thousand to tens of thousands of miles. Some makes of tyre last longer, but might be less grippy – this is a tyre purchase choice. The weight of the vehicle, the power of the engine and how you drive all affect tyre life. To get the most from your tyres:
- Uneven tyre wear could be due to wheel balancing of steering tracking problems.
- Keep your tyres at the recommended pressures
- Corner at a sensible speed
- Brake and accelerate gently
- Keep on the road, do not mount kerbs at speed
As your tyres wear, your wheel / tyre can become less well balanced. Signs of unbalanced wheels are:
- Shaking steering wheel
- A rumbling noise coming from the out of balance wheel
- Worn patches across the tyre, at one or more points
Have your wheels re-balanced before your tyres get uneven and prematurely worn.
Remember, replacement tyres will cost you less than being caught with illegal tyres.
Exhaust Systems
We supply and fit full and partial exhaust systems to any car / light commercial vehicle.
A broken exhaust system is unsafe, look out for the warning signs:
- A rattle or knocking could mean your exhaust is loose
- A metallic rattle, especially on acceleration could mean a silencer problem
- A loud roar could be a hole in your exhaust pipe
- If you smell exhaust fumes in the vehicle your exhaust needs urgent attention
We will inspect your vehicle, then advise you of the work required to fix the problem. Our suppliers have large stocks of exhaust parts available for most makes, models and ages of vehicle to enable us to get you back on the road safely.
Van and Car Batteries
We supply and fit batteries to any car / light commercial vehicle, from budget to branded batteries.
Van and car batteries have a limited life, look out for the warning signs of a failing or incorrectly specified battery – leave it too long and you might be stranded!
- When you turn the key, the engine turns over slowly and the ignition light dims
- When you turn the key, the you hear a clicking noise
- At night, your headlights are not as bright

- Alloy wheels cleaned
For our valeting service we prefer to have a car or van dropped off between 8.30-9.00am to allow time for chemicals and finishes to dry /set and collect 5.00-5.30.
For the full valeting service, please allow a full day (approx 8 hours) for the upholstery to dry.
We respectfully request that customers remove ALL personal belongings.
